Introducing

The ProximaX Sirius core infrastructure platform leverages an amended and augmented blockchain. It is integrated with peer-to-peer, distributed off-chain storage, streaming, and database layers. These are overlaid with APIs and SDKs in a wide range of languages for developers to rapidly develop and deploy their applications. ProximaX leverages the advantages of blockchain and combines it with distinct service layers found in traditional architectures. This creates an extensive all-in-one framework that can be expanded without any compromise on performance.

A Glimpse of the Architecture

The winning combination of blockchain, storage, streaming, database, and consensus is the success DNA of ProximaX Sirius. Advanced features such as Supercontract, multisig, multilayer-multisig, pull transactions, aggregated transactions and cross-chain ability unleash immense possibilities on the platform. It greatly simplifies development and makes it rapid through the abstraction layer laced with APIs and SDKs. The platform gets its universality by supporting a wide range of programming languages such as TSJS, Java, CSharp, Swift, Dart, CLI, Golang, CPP, PHP, Rust, and Python.

The Four Layers that Fuel ProximaX Sirius

Blockchain

At the core of ProximaX Sirius lies the blockchain layer. It is the base layer which provides the source of data that interconnects with the other layers in a public or private environment. Through carefully scripted and guarded access points, we have also added a private blockchain solution for verified users and entities to bring public chain capabilities to enterprises.

Streaming

Sirius Stream Protocol (SSP) is a high security and high performance streaming layer. Users can utilize it for real-time messaging and streaming services in a fully anonymous and end-to-end encrypted ecosystem. SSP is designed as a privacy routing protocol that mitigates the risks of maintaining exit nodes and out proxies. The SSP layer has two variants: live streaming for fully anonymous interactions between users; and storage streaming for providing streaming content from storage that is used for pre-recorded streaming instances.

Storage

The ProximaX storage layer is deployed through a Distributed File Management System (DFMS) protocol. Its peer-to-peer distributed architecture makes the network decentralized and free from any third-party influence. It also facilitates client-side encryption thus allowing for maximum data security. Being based on an encrypted and shared file storage on a decentralized infrastructure also makes the storage layer immune to security and privacy threats.

Database System

The database system layer is made up of cross-platform document-oriented database MongoDB, and it is driven by Tendermint core as the distributed network enforcement mechanism. Put simply, this layer records all the transactions and information and attaches a unique identifier called transaction hashes to them.

Use Cases

The ProximaX Sirius platform allows enterprises to become future-ready by conveniently developing a variety of solutions on distributed ledger technology. Its "hub and spoke" model allows organizations to leverage the potential of blockchain while facilitating use cases far beyond those possible on traditional blockchain infrastructures. Solutions built on ProximaX Sirius today serve verticals from F&B to governments, sports to medical diagnostics, and many more.
